Lauren

I am a graduate of Archbishop Alter High School and currently attend Ohio State University. I am double majoring in neuroscience and political science and intend to obtain my medical degree after undergraduate in order to become a surgeon in the future. In addition to my academics, I am a member of the club soccer team, part of the Health Sciences Scholar program, a tutor in chemistry and biology, a volunteer at the Wexner Medical Center during the school year, and a student research assistant at the Ohio State Eye Ear Institute.

Availability: I am currently a student researcher at Ohio State twice a week for three hours. However, the days and times can vary but otherwise I am very flexible and when I am not researching am usually available.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have been involved with tutoring since I was a junior in high school when I tutored both at my high school and at the local middle school in chemistry, biology, history, math, and physics. Once I entered college I joined the peer tutoring program in my Health Science Scholar`s program where I tutor in both general chemistry and biology. I have always immensely enjoyed tutoring as I am very passionate about education. I believe a high quality education is the key to equal opportunity and can enable individuals to reach the dreams they set for themselves.
