I am looking for an opportunity to start tutoring. I have 11 years of experience working with middle school students and have worked with students with learning disabilities and the general education population of students as well. I am comfortable working with elementary school students as well as high school students. I am currently working with special needs students in a special needs classroom.

Availability: I am available to tutor after my regular school hours Monday-Friday 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays 10-12 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: My experience includes tutoring a 6th grader in pre-algebra for 6 months, and a 7th grade student in science, reading comprehension, and essay writing skills for 7 months. As an instructional assistant in a functional skills class I teach students reading comprehension skills, writing skills,money math, market math and computational math ever day. I also collaborate with staff and my teacher to prepare reading and comprehension tests. In addition, I enjoy helping students with science projects, elective classes, art projects, and social skills. I work with 3-5 students in small groups on a daily basis and I am looking forward to tutoring so that I can help students achieve their academic goals in life.
