Experience: I worked for three years as a teaching assistant for general chemistry classes at University of New Orleans. I taught recitation classes every week that are supplementary to the class taught by the professor. I also worked in the tutoring center providing individual mentoring. The job also entailed grading and tracking of studentsâ progress.
During my free time I worked as a freelance physics tutor, working primarily with freshmen. I taught both algebra-based and calculus-based physics. I also volunteered at the departmental tutoring center by tutoring the ï¬rst year undergraduate students to understand the concepts of introductory physics.
After high school I was hired as a teaching assistant there. IassistedinteachingPhysics,Chemistry,Mathematics(PureMathematics,StatisticsandMechanics),Computing, and English as a substitute teacher or an independent tutor as needed. I managed the high schoolâs records including but not limited to exam scores, fee bills, and attendance. I also helped students with their college essays and preparing for their standardized tests (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, and IELTS)
