Emily

Hello. My name is Emily. I have 18 years of teaching experience and currently I am the director of a before and aftercare program. I would like to supplement my work hours with tutoring. I have taught in public and private schools and grades 3-5 in elementary school, grade 6 math, grade 6 writing and grammar, and science grades 6-8. I have a wholistic approach to working with students. I take in to account their learning modality and anything that may have created a learning gap for them. I believe that we cannot teach a student until they relate to us and can trust us.

Experience: Again, my experience is 18 years of teaching. I have taught grades 3-5 in public school and both 6th grade advanced math and grades 6-8th science at a Catholic school. I also taught 6th grade writing and grammar at the McDonogh school for 3 years.
