• Analytical and Research Scientist with more than ten years of experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Analysis
• Proven expertise in adhering to laboratory SOPs; and accurate and comprehensive documentation at Rangam Consultants-BASF and Bayer, using LIMS, for the reception of samples and detailed electronic notebooks
• Extensive experience working with Robotics and liquid handlers to perform High-throughput DNA/RNA extraction using the KingFisher Flex system,
• Trained for Real-Time PCR (florescent-based PCR) using BIOMEK FX
• Proficient with digestion of samples for Mass Spectrometry Analysis
• Made thousands of PCR, Southern blot, and Western blot characterization of putative transgenic plants
• Able to work independently with low or no supervision
• Software literate including Vector NTI, LIMS, SAS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
