My student teaching experience in a bilingual classroom at Navasota Intermediate School has prepared me well for meeting the needs of diverse learners and differentiating instruction. I am equally comfortable teaching both math and science. In my math classroom, you would find my students using manipulatives when appropriate, and logic and problem solving in real life situations when possible. In my science classroom, you would see inquiry and hands-on activities to develop critical thinking. As for language arts, I am an avid reader and I would like to transfer my interest in reading to students. I have an interest in all subjects, and chose mathematics and science because at the time, I had to choose English/Language Arts and Reading or Math and Science.
