Information about Nathan

I am a research graduate of Michigan State University where I studied Cell and Developmental Biology. I will be attending Princeton University this Fall where I will pursue a PhD in Neuroscience. I have had numerous volunteer and paid teaching positions and hold a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and biology alike. I have just returned from a volunteer position teaching English on the Thai-Burma border to a group of Burmese political refugees and am very excited to get back to teaching science. My teaching philosophy will require the student to think critically about the material but will likely leave them with not only a greater understanding of the material but a newfound respect and passion for science and learning alike. Please feel free to contact me for a copy of my CV, a writing sample or with any general questions. Thank you for your consideration.
