Hello! My name is Bay . I am a college freshman with 5+ years experience in the Japanese language. I love the language and the linguistics, so I would love to help someone learn more! I am a native English speaker and have access to Japanese language materials like the Genki workbooks in order to better assist with the learning process. I have a background in working with Japanese vocal synthesis softwares, as well as doing regular writing and reading work, which greatly improved my Japanese communication skills. I enjoy also incorporating verbal and auditory immersion learning strategies in my tutoring whenever possible. I have noticed that speaking and hearing the language__not just reading and writing in it__can increase the student`s abilities. It is my hope to help students find something they enjoy about the language and focus in on that, whether it is grammar, phonetic makeup or vocabulary.

I`ve been interested in languages and tutoring my entire life. I spent a lot of time in the past helping other students who ranged from elementary to high school. I am excited to start doing this again, and would love to help tutor in things at which I am proficient. During my high school years, I worked at a student literacy center called Wordplay, which extended my ability to reach out to students and assist them. Because of this, I am able to cater to my students` needs. Thank you for your time and I hope you consider me for tutoring your student.

Availability: I am available on weekends all day, unless there is an alternate situation occuring, and most weekdays in the evening, 4:00-8:00PM
