In addition to my tutoring experience, I currently hold a 4.0 GPA at UC Davis for which I made the Dean’s List. Before I came to UC Davis my GPA in high was a weighted 4.1. Additionally in the subjects listed above I have received a solid A in all with the exception of Algebra 2 Honors in which I received a B+, and in Calculus 1 and PSC 1 for which instead of taking the actual class I took the AP test and received a 5 on both tests. I also received a 5 on the AP Literature test, proving that my English skills are impeccable for communication. Additionally the feedback that I have received from students my age that I have tutored is that I am very clear and easy to understand (sometimes more-so than the teacher) and that I am persistent in making sure that the students understands the material. Furthermore, I am always punctual and very reliable, as I needed these skills in high school when I was president of one club, a treasurer in another, an officer in an additional one and the main coordinator for two school-wide programs that took place over 3 months. I always make sure I am at appointments on time and I almost never cause myself to have a scheduling conflict.

Experience: I do have past tutoring experience for other students in my high school as a volunteer basis, in which I assisted my peers in understanding the lessons of the day and the homework problems. I also was a consistent volunteer for the Abode Services homeless shelter and sustainable housing tutoring center in Fremont, CA in which I tutored students ranging from age 3 up to age 16 a few times a week for a period of about 5 months.
