I am a third-year student named Yang in Coventry majoring in language, I`m from China, based in Coventry city center, and always happy to travel for teaching mandarin. Chinese is my mother tongue so I would like to be a mandarin tutor trying to help everyone who needs help. I`m decent, friendly, outgoing, and good at communication, responsible and caring. I’m also a guy into volunteering job, was a volunteer in an International Youth Hotel in Hainan province, China in 2016 and will extend my volunteer journey in the coming vacations as long as there is the possibility.
Have been a tutor in China for half an year, been worked in Starbucks for several months in China, then have a part time job in Leamington Spa in UK for last semester in order to increase my working experience, as in this term, I would like to devote myself being a tutor and fully committed to continuing my career related to education.
I would love to conclude several points that I have made during the tutor period: 1.Planned, implemented, monitored, assessed and achieve students’ education goals.2. Improved test scores on state English test by 40%. 3. Consistently received positive evaluations from students. 4. Met with parents to resolve conflicting educational priorities and issues. As the working experience has gained a great foundation to my ability to be a better tutor to give lessons of mandarin teaching.
