Konnichiwa!

I am Alanna, pronounced like nirvana. I am a 12th grader in a private high school and will be moving out of state to university in August 2015. I have been studying Japanese for the past 8 years, starting at age 10, and am enrolled in a honors-level course in my high school. I plan on taking an AP exam in May for college credit.

I plan to continue Japanese in college so that I may become an interpreter with a business administration major.

Availability: Weekends, preferably Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM.

Willing to travel: 30 miles

Experience: I have been very passionate about learning and am looking for a middle school to high school-age student who is willing to challenge his or herself with a subject that I love. I often help my classmates and younger high school students with their Japanese as well as my boyfriend who also takes Japanese classes. I visited Japan when I was 16. I
