I am a native Turkish speaker from Turkey who has been living and working professionally in the U.S. for the last seven years. I have been working as an English as a Second Language teacher for the last eight years and I have a New Jersey Teaching Certificate. I have had students from kindergarten to adult, from over 45 different countries. I have also been tutoring students from many different age groups in English and Turkish (online, one on one, in small groups or in a classroom setting). I have a BA degree in teaching English from Anadolu University Eskisehir, Turkey. I took extra classes of Turkish syntax, morphology and phonics, Turkish and Turkish History classes in college.

In addition, I have experience working many years as a medical translator for Istanbul University Medical Faculty students, assistants and professors in Istanbul, Turkey and as an interpreter for American Turkish Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey, US. I have also been doing many translations from websites, medical, legal, marketing documents, subtitles, books to interviews as a freelance translator.

Most recently, I worked as a Turkish translator at a social media website MeetMe Inc., New Hope, PA from February 2013 to June 2013. I am knowledgeable in many office programs, technical language of iOS and Android apps and currently using programs like JIRA, Heathrow, Smartling and Open graph for Facebook.
