Information about Peter
I am an inspiring, friendly and dedicated Swahili instructor. Although I have a 6-year experience in
teaching and testing Swahili both in Kenya and in the US, I love to learn and I am always up to a
challenge whatever the situation. I am an active team player and get along well with my students,
supervisors and colleagues whilst also working efficiently on my own.

Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught Swahili in the US since 2009 across all the proficiency levels. Furthermore, I have taught at the Indiana University, Bloomington Swahili summer STARTALK program for two years. In addition, I have participated in the development of Swahili online teaching materials for the University of Oregon.
