I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a pre-med concentration. While undergoing my undergraduate studies I became a tutor through my university in general chemistry. Through the years I found that I enjoyed helping students uncover the joys of the natural sciences and I soon expanded my subjects to genetics, biochemistry, physics, microbiology, calculus, algebra and other various math and science courses.

Upon graduation, I did not want to end my tutoring once I left the university and so I underwent my own small tutoring business to incorporate not only just university students but also high school students as well. Since then I have been tutoring all age groups and educational levels and have empowered many to do well in their own studies. One of my tutoring philosophies is that “one never stops learning” and I not only encompass this in my tutoring sessions but also in my own education as I obtained a Master’s degree In Microbiology with a concentration in Medical Microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Florida. In all, education is virtual and knowledge works wonders.

I take difficult topics that students struggle in and I break it down in a format in which the student can understand; I usually accomplish this through common day terms and objects. Not only do I help students know the topics but I show how that topic is important through real world applications.

I work with all students to tailor my sessions to their individual needs and in a way that they are more accustomed to. I hear all students comments and concerns and help set goals to reach a positive successful outcome within my sessions.
